Dual Win for Best Sustainable Practices at Irish Restaurant Awards

Kildare, Wednesday 12 February 2025 – Two restaurant venues managed by Cliste Hospitality, 54° in Dundalk and The Court Bar & Restaurant at Tullamore Court Hotel, have been recognised for their leadership in sustainability, receiving the Best Sustainable Practices award at the Leinster regional finals of the Irish Restaurant Awards.

The awards ceremony took place last night at Killashee House Hotel in Kildare, where industry leaders gathered to celebrate outstanding achievements in Irish hospitality. Both winning venues will now proceed to the All-Ireland Finals of the Irish Restaurant Awards, set to take place in Dublin on 19 May 2025, where the best in Irish food and hospitality will be recognised on a national stage.

Often regarded as the most distinguished accolades for restaurants in Ireland, the Irish Restaurant Awards celebrate excellence across the sector. With hundreds of entries annually, the selection process is extensive, incorporating:

Public Nominations (20%) – The awards begin with online nominations from the public and members of the Restaurants Association of Ireland.
Regional Judging (80%) – Shortlisted nominees are assessed by regional judging panels comprising industry experts.
Mystery Guest Inspections (40%) – County winners are further evaluated through independent mystery guest visits, assessing food quality, service, and overall experience.
National Awards Academy (60%) – A panel of judges from across the country reviews the finalists to determine the overall winners.
