Cliste Hospitality and Co-operation Ireland Announce Strategic Partnership

Athlone, Tuesday 11 February 2025 – Cliste Hospitality, in collaboration with Co-operation Ireland, is proud to announce their new partnership aimed at empowering young leaders across the island of Ireland, through career development and leadership initiatives. This strategic alliance will provide students with unparalleled opportunities to gain essential life and professional skills, fostering inclusion and leadership within the hospitality industry.

As part of their new collaboration, Cliste Hospitality will support Co-operation Ireland’s Future Leaders Programme, which has already equipped over 600 teenagers with the confidence, skills, and networks to positively impact their communities. Through this initiative, students will be introduced to key principles of leadership, communication, problem-solving, and career pathways in the hospitality sector.

The partners will host their first collaborative event, ‘The World of Work’ Residential Workshop, on 10 and 11 February 2025 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Athlone, one of Cliste Hospitality’s fourteen hotels across the island of Ireland. This immersive two-day event will bring together 30 students, four Co-operation Ireland leaders, and managers from Cliste Hospitality, for an in-depth exploration of career opportunities and the dynamic world of hospitality.

Key Highlights of the Workshop:

  • Expert-Led Sessions: Students will participate in interactive workshops focusing on leadership, negotiation, and self-confidence.
  • Mentorship & Career Guidance: leaders from Cliste Hospitality and their venues across The iNUA Hotel Collection will share expertise and offer valuable mentorship.
  • Immersive Experiences: Attendees will enjoy curated local attraction visits, networking activities, and hospitality-focused entertainment.
