The iNua Hotel Collection celebrates its Annual Group Manager Awards

The iNua Hotel Collection, one of Ireland’s leading hospitality groups hosted its annual iNua Group Manager Awards ceremony in the Radisson Blu Athlone on Tuesday 3rd December. Over 130 managers from the groups 15 hotels came to celebrate a year of exceptional achievements.

The iNua Hotel Collection CEO Sean O’Driscoll spoke about The iNua Collection celebrating its 10th anniversary as a hospitality group, growing from two hotels in 2014 to eighteen hotels and hospitality businesses today, employing 1,740 people. The CEO spoke about the challenges in the hospitality sector over the last twelve months and praised the strength and great character of the leadership teams in each hotel in dealing with these challenges. He also highlighted some of the group achievements including achieving Great Places to Work accreditation for a 3rd year and receiving silver accreditation from the Irish Centre for Diversity.

Mr. O’Driscoll gave a warm welcome to the managers from the new voco hotel in Belfast, which was launched in July of this year and the team from The Keadeen Hotel in Newbridge, which joined The iNua Collection in September 2024.

The awards ceremony honoured eleven managers for exceptional performance in their areas of expertise. The hotel of the year was also announced at the ceremony. The hotel of the year is selected from 19 performance criteria relating to guest experience, colleague satisfaction and business performance.

This year The iNua Collection Hotel of the Year is the Radisson Blu Hotel in Limerick. General Manager at Radisson Blu Limerick Brian Harrington paid tribute to his long serving management team for their dedication and commitment to quality in everything they do and said the award means a great deal to the team.

The individual award winners were:

Daniel Cross, General Manager at Radisson Blu Hotel Sligo was named overall Manager of the Year. Daniel’s leadership and commitment to his team, passion for hospitality and his management of business challenges during 2024 were among the many attributes of why he was chosen as The iNua Manager of the Year.

Denise Meenaghan of Radisson Blu Hotel Sligo was named Wedding manager of the Year. This year Denise celebrated hosting her 1000th wedding at the Radisson Blu Sligo.

Caroline Walsh of The Tullamore Court Hotel was named Food & Beverage Manager of the year. Caroline’s dedication in taking excellent care of conference and meeting clients at The Tullamore Court, earned her this accolade.

Suzanne O’Dwyer of Radisson Blu Hotel Limerick was named Sales Manager of the Year. Suzanne has worked in Radisson Blu Limerick for 22 years and is greatly valued by the hotel’s corporate clients for the excellent service she provides.

Shantal Thomas of Radisson Blu Hotel Limerick was named Accommodation Manager of the year. Shantal’s leadership and attention to detail ensures that guests at The Radisson Blu Limerick have a superb stay.

Anne Marie Jarvis of The Springfield Hotel in Leixlip was named Rooms Division Manager of the year. Anne Marie has worked in The Springfield Hotel for the last 7 years and in her role as Reception Manager ensures that all the needs of the hotel many repeat guests are taken care of.

Kamila Lipnicka of voco Hotel Belfast was named Finance Leader of the year. Kamila oversaw the new hotel ownership; hotel rebrand and refurbishment over the last year and has been a fantastic support to her colleagues in the hotel.

Scott Kapitan of the 5* Muckross Park Hotel in Killarney was named Executive Chef of the year. Scott’s use of the best of local ingredients and superb attention to detail has made The Yew Restaurant at Muckross Park Hotel one of County Kerry’s premier dining experiences.

Chris Lally of Radisson Blu Hotel Athlone was named People & Culture Leader of the year. Chris’s has demonstrated to fantastic support to his colleagues at Radisson Blu Hotel Athlone and is committed to developing people to reach their potential within the group.

Aideen O’Farrell of The Gateway Hotel Dundalk was named Sustainability Leader of the year. The iNua Collection is taking part in Failte Ireland’s Pathway to 45 programme, where the group is targeting to reduce its carbon footprint by 45% by 2030.

Kasia Stec of Radisson Blu Hotel Cork was the winner of the Service Excellence Award. Kasia manages the 5 Mile Coffee Bar at Radisson Blu Cork and delivers friendly and excellent service to both the hotel guests and local customers that visit the hotel.
